St. Joseph Athletic Facility Construction Progress
The St. Joseph Athletic Facility construction is progressing well. In this early June 2026 video below, you'll see the revitalization of Mirocke Stadium in action as construction crews are installing the field turf and track surface after new lighting, video scoreboard, play clocks and sound system have been installed. Soon the maintenance building, concourse and parking areas will be completed.

Support the Renovation
St. Joseph Blue Streaks Alumni Support Stadium Renovations
St. Joseph Athletic Facility is a major renovation of Mirocke Stadium, which was built in the 1950s to support the former St. Joseph High School and the original Aquinas High School in Shawnee, KS. Blue Streak alumni alumni from each decade – 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s – are competing to see which decade can rally the most support for the St. Joseph Generations Growing Together capital campaign to renovate Mirocke Stadium and the St. Joseph Early Education Center (in the former high school building). Donations will be DOUBLED during this Blue Streak Decade Challenge to help St. Joseph cross the goal line of the campaign!
